Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy photo .png

Manual therapy is a hands-on approach used by physiotherapists to assess and treat the joints, muscles, and nervous system. It includes a range of skilled techniques aimed at reducing pain, improving movement quality, and supporting healthy tissue function. These techniques can help decrease stiffness, improve joint mobility, calm irritated or overactive muscles, enhance circulation, and reduce sensitivity in surrounding tissues. Treatment may involve joint mobilizations, soft tissue techniques, passive movement to restore range of motion, gentle stretching, or mobilization of the nervous system. Manual therapy is often combined with exercise and movement retraining to support long-term recovery and improved mobility.

What Our Clients Say

"Karen Boyle in FreeForm Physio is the best physiotherapist I've ever had!
I suffered from lower back injury + pinched nerv for almost a year, tried other physios, chiro, acupuncture, osteopath but no one was able to help until I've got recommendation for Karen. In only a month my health issues got into minimal pain level, exercises are simple but effective. Karen found out connection between my lower back pain and my wrong rotating hip posture which no one of my physiotherapists before saw! Truly as a real Detective number One! So happy to get into her hands!"
