The Professional
David graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2012. He has spent the past 13 years practicing in the Lower Mainland, developing broad clinical experience treating sports-related injuries as well as persistent neck, shoulder, and low back pain. He has a clinical focus in concussion management and vestibular rehabilitation.
Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, David worked for four years as a Kinesiologist and Personal Trainer in Vancouver’s False Creek area. This background informs his practical, movement-based approach to rehabilitation.
David’s clinical practice combines hands-on manual therapy, including joint mobilization and soft tissue techniques, with progressive exercise rehabilitation. He places strong emphasis on patient education, viewing it as essential to long-term recovery, self-management, and confident return to activity.
The Person
After decades living in the Lower Mainland, David is putting down long-term roots in Hope, BC with his partner. He was drawn to the landscape, slower pace, and access to the outdoors, and motivated by a desire for more space after discovering a love of gardening.
Outside the clinic, David enjoys gardening, fermenting foods, baking bread, and continuing to build skills that allow him to spend more time outdoors.
