The Professional
Karen Boyle is the owner and operator of FreeForm Physio & Pilates. Karen completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2014. Prior to this, she graduated with Magna Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa in 2012, receiving her Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Human Kinetics. Karen emphasizes meaningful, functional movement that clients can integrate into their daily lives — whether at work, home, or in sport. She believes the best outcomes come from blending hands-on care with active participation in movement and exercise.
Her clinical specialties include clinical Pilates, women’s health, running rehabilitation, concussion and vestibular Rehabilitation, and functional dry needling. She is a lifelong learner who values evidence-based practice and ensures that every treatment she provides is current, effective, and safe.
The Person
Originally from Ontario, Karen fell in love with the mountains and ocean of British Columbia. A passionate traveler, she has explored Southeast Asia, India, Europe, and Central and South America. Closer to home, she loves exploring the surrounding mountains and forests, often trail running, hiking, or camping whenever she can.
Karen has recently taken up dirt biking, which she finds both terrifying and exhilarating. You can often find her on the trails riding her Honda 250F named Rosetta. She enjoys conversations about travel, music, books, and the outdoors, and will always be happy to see a picture of your dog.
“When it comes to my clients, I always give it my all. I’m honoured to be part of each person’s rehabilitation journey.”
