Mobility-Focused Physiotherapy

A Mobility Assessment focuses on understanding how your joints move and how your body manages load. Using principles from Functional Range Systems, along with current knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and neuromuscular control, we assess joint health, movement capacity, and tissue resilience to identify what may be contributing to stiffness, discomfort, or movement limitations.

Your one-on-one mobility session begins with a comprehensive assessment that may be full-body or joint specific depending on your needs. From there, we develop a personalized mobility program that may include controlled articular rotations (CARs), isometric contractions (PAILs and RAILs), end-range strength exercises, and progressive mobility training. These techniques are combined with traditional physiotherapy treatment to improve joint function, build strength and control, and enhance overall movement quality.

Mobility training is helpful for anyone experiencing limited range of motion, recurring stiffness, movement restrictions, or long-standing pain. It is designed to help you move with greater ease, confidence, and control in both daily life and physical activity.

What Our Clients Say

"Karen Boyle in FreeForm Physio is the best physiotherapist I've ever had!
I suffered from lower back injury + pinched nerv for almost a year, tried other physios, chiro, acupuncture, osteopath but no one was able to help until I've got recommendation for Karen. In only a month my health issues got into minimal pain level, exercises are simple but effective. Karen found out connection between my lower back pain and my wrong rotating hip posture which no one of my physiotherapists before saw! Truly as a real Detective number One! So happy to get into her hands!"
